only if they caught it between the time you made the request and the time you cancelled it

The only way to tell if they saw your friend request, is if they saw the notification pop up on there screen, But they will only see it if they saw it between the time you sent it, and then cancelled it.

By the way, I love your avatar, Isn't that a guy from the TV show, "The Office"? I love that show!
