quick and easy way to get more twitter followers?

I want to grow my twitter,things like adding people with the same interest doesn't seem to work for me and I do tweet regularly and try to be interesting but my followers go up really slowly? I need another way that doesn't include following back anyone or using websites or buying followers,is it possible? thanks

If you have an iOS device, get twigrow. Sure, it's POSSIBLE... but the method that comes immediately to mind isn't one I would want to do. Which is:

Make the news by breaking the law in a disgusting manner.

Your twitter count will skyrocket.... not that you'll be able to do anything about it from prison.

My point is simply that well-known people get followed. Don't ask ME how to become well-known... have you ever of me before today?
