What do you think of people that you used to know on Facebook who wish you happy birthday but never converse?

never speak to you or message you or care about you otherwise? they see that Facebook or other social media says it 'your' birthday and wish you a 2 word happy birthday and never speak to you until your next birthday, where they wish you happy birthday and never speak to you until the next birthday. maybe you worked with them but do not any longer. they have their friends, you have yours or don't have any or whatever. they could have their relationship with a boyfriend/girlfriend or be engaged or whatever so they are attached and have no real reason to speak to you.

what do you think about those people? why do they want to wish happy birthday?

Why is it a big deal if they wished you a happy birthday or not? They are in a relationship, but all they did was say happy birthday nothing more.
