Is this legal? Could someone sue?
So this person asked someone else not to post their location or age on twitter for privacy reasons. So a week later that person posts both age and location an also insults with untrue things such as saying they don't know what they are talking about and swearing. Could the person sue the one for posting this content. Both minors. Is this defamation? Invasion of privacy?
I did not do this but something like this hits close to home.

Thanks

Yes. This is invasion of privacy. It's happened to me as well. If they're both minors, take it to the principal. If the principal won't do anything, then press charges.

Under COPPA, I believe it is. The person doing the posting could be charged as a juvenile. It wouldn't be illegal because of the cursing but rather because the location of the minor was released. I'm not 100% sure, I'm not going to research it for you, but I'm pretty sure.
