Can I get my masters degree in social Psychology if I got my bachelors degree in Marketing?
I am currently doing my BA(hons) in marketing management which I really love. But after spending all last years summer doing some psychology courses, i came to see that I am really intrested in psychology too. Soo once i graduate, can I go into a Psychology field. Say social Psychology, coz I think that is most related to marketing. Do I need to have my bachelors degree in something similiar to my masters degree? Or are there universities that allow you to start a whole new field? and allow you to start from the begining in your masters degree??

Btw im currently studying in London, im considering doing my masters in the states.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankssss =D

You will most likely not be accepted into a Master's program for Psychology. You will not have taken the prerequisites.

Each Master's program requires a certain amount of credits in the undergraduate program for the same subject.

I know a few people that majored in both, so they were able to go into the Master's program in either.

There's two parts to the question actually. Part one, the simple part, you have to get prerequisities for social Psychology. AA and a BA. Part two, the hard part, going through all the classes to get at that level.
