What major would be best for me?

As a career, I want to be involved in the social media. I love to socialize, I'm very organized, and love to expierence different cultures and media worlds. My ideal job would be to do something within the fashion industry. However unfortunately my top schools don't offer the exact major I want with a masters.

What is your recommendation?

Top majors-
(In order)

PR
Advertising
Marketing
Communications (general)
International business?


For example, @ NYU would it make sense for me to:
Major in Media, Culture and Communications
+ minor in Marketing?

NYU is my top choice school, but I also want to make sure if I do get accepted that I would get the right knowledge I need for my chosen field of study.

I'd recommend George Washington University. They allow you to dual major in marketing and international business and they have a top ranked international business program. They also have a lot of classes related to advertising, PR, communications, etc.

All of your ideas are frivolous and impractical, with the possible exception of Marketing in the context of a general Business degree.

Avoid anything to do with Fashion. It is time to set aside your Barbie dolls.
