Stan the Man stomps away from Twitter: Time to join Y!A CE?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-25860617

We have seen this before, Stan has carried out a well publicised quitting of the inferior Twitter forum, do you agree with me that he would fit in well here?
GrumpyMan

Yes I forgot he was from Birmingham

Lol I have often wondered if there are one or two minor celebs hiding out on YA, maybe not just in this section but all over the site. Of course we would have to ask him for his answer to the all important question before we could possibly let him partake......" So Stan, what IS your favourite take away??!"

He'd have to hide his ethnicity, as CE has a bit of a reputation...

I wonder if somebody has had a go at his wikipedia entry, as the account of his personal life, is a bit embarrassing to him. Surely, if he is so upright and against trolls on Twitter, then he can't possibly have done things like punch Ulrika Jonsson, or gone dogging at Cannock Chase.

LOL, Grumpy, the Ulrikakakakaka incident was well covered at the time, not sure about Cannock Chase though, lol, last time I was there many years ago, I wandered into Army maneuvers while lost...

Stan would be welcomed by some, but, not all, I suspect...

Stan Collymore probably IS a member of Yahoo Answers. I Know Barack Obama was,.his account has been converted into staff while he can take it up again. I am not sure if Tony Blair was an actual member but I do know he used to look at the CE section every morning to see how the wind was blowing.

But if not already on then yes Stan should join. He would be safe here with our reporter and top reporter system always on the watch. Anything racist against would be removed almost as soon as it was posted.

Don't forget the 'UK' bit of it also, Deighton. Saw the front page of one of the popular papers, and it didn't take long for Ulrika Jonsson to attempt to put him in his place. So - if I'm not mistaken, if 'Liverpool' fans from elsewhere in the world...in this case, being Northern Ireland (where else) decided to be racist towards him - and he points out the organisation who allows it to happen, along comes Ulrika...It was terrible the way Collymore treated her - of course we will NEVER know exactly how serious it was. And now, when someone from the back of beyond decides to have a pop at him for being 'cruel' to a Liverpool player, he complains to Twitter - and surprise surprise...he's accused of the classic lazy growl of having a 'chip on his shoulder'. Christ...on here he'd be hated by at least a dozen; half of whom think they own the site, and the other 'alf the kind of sheep even Orwell wouldn't have even thought of.
As for Ulrika - this must be the best chance for her to misguidedly try to bring herself back into the public eye. In this case, therefore, maybe 'Stan the Man' does have a use after all, as Ulrika's fifteen minutes of fame has long gone, whereas Stan would appear to have grown up. How can this be what the media have called 'hypocrisy'?
