When will FB stock be worth buying?
Very unfortunate for such a company, now dropping, as of now to 19.02. When do you think it'll be worth buying? And Even if it was worth it to buy, do you think FB stocks will go back up? I haven't heard of any innovative features coming up regarding fb, and obviously the timeline was a complete failure....

I don't think it will be worth anything. They make their money all through adds....

I plan on adding a few buys as a spec play, will never have a huge position but certainly want some position on this. I like the fact everyone hates it, makes me think I'm on to something Smile

I just don't think so; their user base have not increased much in the past 12 months. Their valuation is pretty much based on the user count (or ad exposure), and at 900 or so million, unless they can vastly increase this, or the ad revenue.. I doubt it.

unless someone can prove me wrong?

There is a little buying going on among big investors and hedge funds, but they can afford to wait and take the hit if things don't work out for FB, which I don't think they will. Yesterday was only the first of three dates when restricted shares can be sold. I'm not sure there is any end in sight until the last restricted shares date, which I think is 15 months from now.

Beyond that, I agree with your observation that facebook has no new innovations and personally I think it is starting to wear out in terms of usage.

If I had to hold for 5 years, I wouldn't buy FB for $5/share.

Come on guys, FaceBook is worth something. Right now I think that I would not own facebook because I see continued downside. The insiders have the rights to sell now and in November there will be more shares unlocked for them which can lead into heavy selling. FaceBook to me will be worth about $10, they do have potential in the mobile space however they still have not developed a good application for iPhone or Android. They need to think of a better advertising strategy though
