My friends don't like my "new friends" and talk bad about them to me. Why do they do this?

Why do they not let me just get on with new friendships? Talking bad about my new friends being "too happy" or "not very nice". I pick my children up from school and get grief for standing with other people, one of them actually wrote on Facebook a spiteful status about me ignoring her, I'm tired of it and just want to get on with life. I'm in army marriage and the local Scottish girls don't like my army wife friends.

True friends can accept new friends and people in your life if they really care and are true. Sounds like these people are your typical haters. Some get jealous at the fact that you have new friends and some have nothing better to do than to complain or say things because perhaps they arent happy themselves. Sometimes we grow up finding out we have a fake friend or fake friends. I recently unfriended a guy that knew for 15 years, because he began acting strange and jealous when I finally found my soon to be wife and saw how happy he was. He had jealous tendencies and I found how how jealous he was of me and seemed to be more friendly when i was stressed in my last crazy relationship as it seemed to bring him joy. I said enough and ignored the fact we were friends for a long time. sometimes the real person comes out after change and we have to realize who are real friends and just move on. I suggest you move on and be friends only to those who are true and dont cause so much drama.
