Can you check where Facebook Messages come from?
I know I sound weird for asking, but I LITERALLY had someone stalk me on Facebook. I knew they went to my school, but the account was fake and was made to send me messages. The name wasn't a real name. I went to the resource officer and he was just no help. The messages were sent from web, so I guess a computer, not a phone. I never found out who it was. Can I retrace the location of the messages?

There is no way to trace the location of a Facebook message. The ONLY possible way is if the message contained anything illegal. Then you would have to file a police report and the police would have to get a judge to grant a court order to subpoena Facebook's records to find who made the account

There is actually a way to check where a message came from. I have seen it, and that is the main reason I deleted my account. When a message is sent it shows usually what state and town the message comes from next to the sent status.
