when unblocking someone on facebook, does the other person receive new notifications of the restored tags?

I am looking to unblock an old friend who I have blocked in the past, but this person most likely had forgotten that I blocked them, considering it was a while ago. I was wondering if this old friend would receive any kind of notifications or any acknowledgment that I did unblock them. I am aware that the old and previous tags that we have posted pf each other will be restored, but I want to know if any of us will receive a new notification for the restoration of the tags.

I do not want to remind them that I blocked them in the first place, and I do not want them to be notified that I am now unblocking them, but I do not want them blocked anymore. Will any old tags being restored be posted as new ? Or will they appear at the top of their timeline? Or will the tags simply be restored without any new notifications?

Please help, I've been trying to get an answer for months. If you have any answer regarding my question, please answer!
