how do I get fan pages such as Call of Duty to stop posting updates on my home page in facebook?
it's not on MY wall, but it is on the home page that opens right away when i sign into facebook. How do I eliminate these stupid updates? I just want to see what my friends write, not what things that I am a fan of. Such as Forza coffee company, and pogo.com, that fill up the home page.

go to the group and quit it. no one sees the groups anyway.

a fan page, not a group
hover over the post, and where it says, edit, or something to that effect (FB is being a little bitch to me at the moment, so i cant check the exaft wording), click on it, and "Hide" those posts.
