Is blackberry facebook app free?

I have a blackberry curve and I don't have a data plan however I am constantly connected to the internet (wi-fi) and I browse the web when I am connected and I was wondering if I download the facebook app and use it only when connected to the internet will I get charged?

As long as you are connected to WiFi, you will not be charged. Most, if not all, providers require you to have a data plan if you have a smartphone.

If you are connected to a Wi-Fi hotspot, you will not be charged. You WILL* be charged however, if you're using mobile broadband to use the facebook Blackberry application.

*Depending on your current data plan. If you're on Pay-as-you-go, then you will only ever use what you have topped up. If you're on a monthly contract, there is a limit to how much you can use.
