Is myspace safe enough? should i get one?

I wouldnt hide it.
Try to convince her that the only way it is not safe is if your stupid.
It is just like anything else. Like email or AIM or going to the movies even. Because there are weirdos everywhere. As long as you dont display any personal information and your smart there should be no problem.
I am 14 and i have had one since last year.
At first my mom said absolutely not when i wanted one. But i obeyed her and then my older Cousin showed her all the things you can do with myspace. Like store photos of family and friends. Stay in touch with friends. And design your own profile to represent you.
But dont hide it from your mom. Try to convince her because hiding it will just get you in more trouble. ... And if she does say yes.
Make sure your profile is private and dont add anyone you dont know.
I have 297 friends of people i do know. So dont worry about not having enough friends.
