Is myspace safe enough? should i get one?

I'm now over 14 years old. I want a myspace and i only want to use it to connect with friends and family. but even when i tell my mom that. she says no. she knows im responcible but yeh. anyways i would make it very provite and hard to find for people who dont know no. i would post photos that are bad or anything like that either. im not like that. is it still safe enough? even without my mom knowing? how do i hide it?
facebook...umm but its easier to add people tho...and easier 4 people to find you..and u cant have bg's lol

yeah man, there's all sorts of safety and privacy features to keep you safe, get one, its awesome, i would also recommend a facebook, but not a twitter

no it is NOT safe. facebook is definitely safer, but it's getting more and more like myspace

I dont think you could hide it, especially when your mom said no. There are alot of stalkers out there even when you dont put bad pictures up there. Just get one next year

I have had a myspace since i was 13 and now im 14. I have not had any issues with it. And when you make it to block it is under privacy
