Pretty much it's really easy for parents to track you on Facebook so people are leaving

I already deactivated my account twice (reactivated the first time bc I got addicted to Candy Crush can I get a what what). I just found it boring and pointless, and like 98% of my news feed was insipid trash from people I hated. Plus I never used it anyway, so. I'm much happier with it gone, tbh.

Other social media sites are taking over haha! Mostly twitter and Instagram IMO.

Facebook and MSN became really popular in the late 2000s. Facebook was the popular thing when I began high school in 2009, and by the time we graduated last year, Twitter was in. MSN is obsolete now, and Facebook has lost its appeal. Before Facebook, everyone used MySpace and that eventually phased out.
