Instagram likes and followers!?

Okay so I'm like ...addicted to instagram haha. So right now I have about 760 followers. A couple of months ago I started using hashtags in the caption to get more likes. At first I was so happy because I was getting a lot of likes. But now it's annoying to have to put hashtags all the time and I'm not getting as many likes as I used to. I need a way to get a lot of likes WITHOUT hashtags. A lot of people from my school get a whole bunch of likes and I want a lot of likes too. I'd like more followers too. At first I thought the key to a lot of likes was a lot of followers. Yeah sometimes that's the case but not always. I feel like there's a secret to it lol. This girl joined instagram a long time after I did and hardly got any likes, but now she gets like 100 likes and I want that! lol. Anyway, again ... I need a way to get more likes WITHOUT HASHTAGS, I repeat, WITHOUT HASTAGS lol..PLEASE HELP, ILL DO ANYTHING! Thanks
