tips on breeding goats?

Have been trying to get my male goat who is not nutered and about 5 years to breed my two year old nanies but they just wont. The last time I asked this question I got a crappy anwser please give me a good one vets??

Not a vet, but I raise dairy (Nubian) and Pygmy goats. Depending on their breed depends on heat cycles. Not all goats breed whenever. The male will go into "rut" when it is their season and he will become very stinky. If this does not happen the does will not be interested. Most doe cycle every 21 days but again depends on the season and the breed. My males went in in July and are now done with their season. There is a great group on facebook if interested called The Goat Care Unit with very knowledgeable people and friendly advice. I love them and you may learn lots from reading the posts.
