Question about tagging on Facebook?

Okay, so I've set all my privacy settings so that I have to approve tags beforehand. I know that even if I disapprove a tag, it can still show up on other places, like if other people were tagged in the photo, it would show up their profile and stuff.

However, what I want to know is, just say I disapproved a tag, will it still show up the newsfeed of my friends, even if they are NOT friends with the person that tagged me or any of the other people in the photo? Like will it still say I was tagged in a photo and show the picture?

That setting only about whether you allow that pic (that you're tagged) to appear in your Timeline, that's it. So as long as you're tagged, it might show in your friends' News Feed, show up if people search "Photos of [your name]. To prohibit that, you have to remove yourself from the tag; just open the pic in a new tab, you'll see the menu "Remove tag".
