Questions about apps for BB Playbook?

I have been looking at tablets (mostly wishing i could justify one) when i noticed the playbook on sale for $300 (16gb) and thats a decent price drop for me to consider one, especially with ability to put on my 3g network. Now for the questions, 1) is it good to use daily 2) can bbm and all that work if you do not have a blackberry and 3) are there good msn (windows live messenger)/facebook/skype apps for it currently out. I would most like it if they were made by the companies respectively but some 3rd party apps are very good as well. Please help

i have a playbook so i'll try to answer your questions honestly.

1. i use my playbook daily for email, web browsing, book reading (with Kobo app), music, etc.

2. email, calendar, contacts, task, notes AND BBM will NOT work unless you have a blackberry phone. this is supposed to change with a software update scheduled for February...but i don't count on anything until it happens.

3. facebook app is available (pre-installed) on the playbook. But currently no skype or msn apps. you can get the IM+ app, which gets good reviews, but you have to pay for it.
