How do you size a photo for FB Timeline Cove photo?
I carefully measured the area to be covered in Facebook on my Timeline page. it measured 1274 x 235 pixels. I create a new file in PS at that size @ 72ppi. I create my logo, saved it as a png file and uploaded it to FB. It was humongus! Just what criteria does FB use in resizing a photo. how can I correct it?

851px x 315px

"per inch" resolution is only relevant for printing.
