Are my two friends too close for just friends?

Are my two friends too close for just friends?
Ok this guy is not a normal person. He is our friend and we do like him but picks his fingers with a blender blade. Let's just get that into context. The girl is nice and friendly though, but she has a boyfriend who is nice also. Me and my other flatmates have noticed that they are becoming really close. We all started uni in September 2013 and since then he started helping her with her essays and they've become closer and closer.

He put her deadlines before his, practically writes her essays, they flirt with each other in the kitchen, taking pictures together, having private conversations, gives piggy backs, go shopping and to the gym together, have little private jokes, when we go to clubs they dance together, gives looks that you would NOT give your friends and they've only known each other for less than 3 months.

It's weird. Me and my flatmates are getting really uncomfortable. We've met her boyfriend once before but the guy (who flirts with the girl) acts like him and her boyfriend have been friends for years. They both have conversations on facebook, but if he saw the way they acted together he would not be pleased.

To be honest we don't think shes fully knows how the guy feels about her. She's one of those really innocent girls and we never think she would cheat on her boyfriend, but she must be a little aware. The guy on the other hand would do something. He knows about their relationship. We want to say something because I don't want to keep living like this where being with our kitchen is super awkward.

What the hell do we do?How do we tackle the matter?

They might be closer than friends. But you don't do anything about it. It is their business.
