I think you should ask her staight up and IN PERSON. It's much sweeter when someone asks you out in person than through social media, trust me. Ask her casually if she has a date yet, and if she says yes say something like "Oh cool! Maybe we'll see each other there." And if she says no, just ask her if she'd like to go with you. Be bold and brave, because if you never try you'll never know! Good luck, and have fun at the dance no matter what she says! Smile
