you don't have to answer all of these questions, but it'd be helpful if you could.

1.) how do i delete my facebook account?
2.) if i ever wanted to get a new account, but i used the same name and everything, would my old information still be there?
3.) will my friends on fb get notified that i deleted my account?
4.) will they get notified if i un-delete my account?

1) To DELETE your FB account, click this link: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php...e_account. Click the blue Submit button and your account will be deleted. It is permanent and you lose everything!

2) I don't think your old information will still be there. If you want your old info to still be there, I suggest you DEACTIVATE your account and not delete it. To DEACTIVATE: http://www.facebook.com/deactivate.php

3) No, your friends don't get notified. They just might notice it themselves when they try to look for you on their friends list and don't see your name anymore.

4) They don't get notified if you un-delete your account. You can't un-DELETE your account, but you can REACTIVATE it. When you reactivate, all of your friends are restored and you show up on their friends list again. They will now see your name again on their friend list.

2) You can get a new account, but you must use a different email to sign up, and yes, you can use the same name...your old information would be only associated with your old account only.
3) No, yourfriends won't get such notification.
4) You can reactivate your account if you have deactivated it...but if you choose to delete it, you cannot get it back.
They won't get notified if you reactivate your account as well.



Procedure to delete/deactivate account:
❶ Sign in to your Facebook account.
❷ Mouse over "Settings" and click on "Account Settings" from the drop down menu.
❸ Click on "Deactivate" hyperlink below.

❹ Click above to go there directly.
➎ Click on Deactivate, and then you will be taken to the account deactivation page.
➏ You have to provide a reason for deactivating your account. Choose as it suits you.
➐ Finally, Click on the "Deactivate My Account" button to deactivate your account.

If you ever feel like reactivating it, just sign in like you do normally, and you'll be able to reactivate it.

However, if you want to delete it permanently, it is advisable to manually remove all your profile information, and any picture or photos uploaded, along with all your friends.

Make sure you remove all your personal info, pictures, videos, apps, groups you joined, people you are fans of everything and change your name. Change your name to something like Minnie Mouse. Your account will be deactivated for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks of no activity it will be permanently deleted.

To change your name:
settingâ–ºaccount settingsâ–ºunder name click on "change"

Many people are leaving facebook. It's a shame how some people are treated. Wish things could always be peaches and cream but they are not at times. Sad Sad Sad!!!
