Help with Ipod touch Facebook notification problem!?

So I have the ipod touch and facebook 3.0 on it (the newest one i think.)
I can get to the newsfeed, my inbox, my friends and my chat
but I cant go to either my profile or the notifications i'm receiving!
I really need help because I can see that im getting notifications but when I CLICK ON THEM
facebook dissapears and im back to the ipod menu with all the other apps.
if anyone has this same problem and fixed it or if anyone knows whaaat to do please help.

it could be a fault within the app. i think you should delete that app and re-download it BUT beware that your ipod is up to date in case a newer version for the facebook app has been created happened to me and now i have to pay to upgrade my ipod so i can get new apps!!=]

same thing happened to me. i deleted the app, restarted my itouch, downloaded it again and it was fine. id try that first
