Facebook Groups Privacy?

I want to join a group on Facebook, but I don't want all of my "friends" to see that I am in that group. It's an open group, so I know that any person can go to that page and see all of the members. But can a person see that I am a member of that group just by looking at my Facebook profile? And will it show up in my newsfeed that I joined the group?

if The Notifcation is Displayed on your Profile They Can See that your a Member of the Group There is no Way to Hide your Self From the Member Group List on your Group As Far as News Feed Goes It May Show it May Not
