How do I see all fans of my Facebook page?
We are currently running a Facebook competition where people have to Like the page to enter. In a few weeks we are hoping to pick a winner at random from all the fans we have at that point.
However, it appears that we can't see all of our fans, only a few hundred of them. Ideally we need to be able to see all to truly pick a winner at random - so is there any way (or even a hack) to see all fans of our Facebook page? Thanks in advance. Ads |

You can't. And the reason for that is because it's against Facebook's promotion guidelines to condition entry into a contest by Liking your page.
As per their official guidelines: "You must not use Facebook features or functionality as a promotion’s registration or entry mechanism. For example, the act of liking a Page or checking in to a Place cannot automatically register or enter a promotion participant. " You should be using a 3rd party app like Wildfire to run a contest as that will give you all the data for everyone who entered and then you can pick a random winner from those who entered. Plus then you'll have their email address to contact them as using your Facebook page to notify a winner is also against their guidelines: "You must not notify winners through Facebook, such as through Facebook messages, chat, or posts on profiles or Pages." Ideally you want to pick a winner from those that actively participated in your current contest which using a 3rd party app allows for. If your current fans also want to enter then they also have that option. |
