HELP! I need to attract more fans to my Campus's Green Program Facebook page!?

How can I go about advertising it to increase the the fans so we can hit the quota to have raffles and funding?

Facebook is based on viral marketing. So, the main idea is to try to connect to new "prospect fans" through your current fans.
- Post interesting/controversial information on your wall so your fans will feel motivated to "Like it". When they like your comments, their friends will see it and get to know your page.
- Invite/motivate your current fans to comment or post in your page, maybe asking a question or for their opinion or a poll, again when one of your fans comment other people will see it.
- Post videos, people love videos
Summarizing, you need to interact with your fans, your facebook page needs a voice so people will engage.
