Should Social Media sites have a strict 18 & Over age limit?
simple, the question asks at all.
i know that no matter what people will find away around an age limit but im just simply asking you whether or not such a thing should exist. the current facebook age limit is 13+ and with things like cyber bullying, teen suicides, stalking and pedophilia looming around social media perhaos something like this is needed. so please let me no know what you think, give your answer explain why, im curious. While all of those (except maybe looming pedophiles) are legitimate concerns, they are exist offline as well. Banning kids from social media won't necessarily fix those problems, but just brush them under the rug.
Not to mention there's the tricky issue of how you define "social media". I don't touch the hard stuff myself Facebook and the like. But is a blog social media? Is a forum? Is Yahoo Answers? Ads |
