Facebook Privacy Questions for a Gay Guy?

Facebook Privacy Questions for a Gay Guy?
Why is this question in this category? Well, I don't have a Facebook page and I'm gay, and I want to make one because of my friends, obviously. I haven't seen my cousins for a while, and I know they're looking for me on Facebook, and NONE of them know about me.
I'm not ready for them or any of my extended family to know right now.

It's not like I would put any pics of me and a guy together up, or mention that I'm gay. With all the people on facebook with my name, is there any way my cousins can figure out which one is me? Should I DEFINITELY use a different email account that my cousins don't know of to be safe? What else should I definitely do? I appreciate your time reading this and any help you can give.
No. I would never in my life come out on facebook. was this the impression I gave? my question was about 'privacy' with facebook when it came to me being gay. I asked this when I was waking up, so will any future answerers please let me know if I wasn't clear with my question?

Make a facebook page. Put pics of you and friends on it, just don't mention the gay part. When you decide to come out, you will really like that you can come out of facebook. Leave off the looking for men part and dont' worry about what people think. Good Luck

Facebook allows searches by name, so an alternate email addy won't hide you. Personal privacy online all depends on what information you put out there. Many people leave the "looking for" section blank, or "friends" or something like that. If you don't want anyone to know you're gay, don't say you are.

Give as little information as possible. They'll also suggest friends based on who you befriend on there too.
