Mutual friends on Facebook...?
so i want to be mutual friends with this person on facebook, and i've read that you have to have the same friend as the person in order to do it... i basically have all the same friends as the person but they aren't becoming a mutual friend... whats up with that..?
it's my best friend, and we have the same friends pretty much i didn't add a whole bunch of her friends just so we could be mutual friends. Im just curious

A mutual friend is what it's called when you and someone else are both friends with the same person. They won't come up as a mutual friend when you go on their page, but they will be on the list of mutual friends that comes up when you go on one of their friends pages.

What do you mean you wanna be mutual friends with this person? Maybe you really wanna be friends with her? What?.. Try going to the profile of one friend of yours and hers on facebook. You'll see her name in the "mutual friends". That is if you are friends with her. If not, then add her up.

Mutual friends does not really work like that, its not meant to be a way of improving the validity of a relationship, its just supposed to be a way to help you recognise new friends on Facebook and help you place where and who you might know them from.

For example, you might be best friends with somone, but have two completely different sets of friends, but once your friends the mutual friends does not make any difference.

Hope this helps.
