Since my Facebook changed to Timeline everything I do is plastered on the news feed, how to fix?
Since my Facebook changed from classic to Timeline, everytime I "like" something, do something in a game, comment on a status or friend someone, it goes to the news feed for everyone to see.

I know that afterward, I can go to "Recent Activity" and hide some things, but not all. For me, it really doesn't do any good to go in and hide it AFTER it already displays on the newsfeed anyway. I'd like it to be hidden all of the time.

On the classic Facebook, there was a place to "hide all commenting activity", etc. but I can't find it on Timeline.

For now, I have deleted all games, I PM someone if I want to say something about a post they have made and I don't add friends. It's not as much fun as it used to be. Is there a way to get this stuff hidden?

For example, some things I "like", I don't mind my friends to see, but would rather my family not to see. I REALLY don't like my family seeing every comment I write. There should be a way to fix this.

SPECIFIC instruction would be greatly appreciated, rather than example: "Go to account- privacy settings". I get that response a lot when I ask people but please be more specific and tell me exactly where!

Thanks.

Thats exactly the purpose of the time line. I hate it. The only way to hide it is to restrict the content from certain audiences. When I write on someone's wall it shows up on everyone's newsfeed -_- anything I do, like or write. Timeline is basically a map of your whole activity on facebook. The only way to get rid of that is to delete it off of your timeline after you like a page. It has a little X at the top right corner.
