was my friend lying to me and why would she?
my friend lives 40 miles away from me. I hardly ever see her because I'm a single mom on a tight budget and I don't have much gas. I did come out just last week to take her to her sisters Hotel party out there. I was invited also so it wasn't a big deal. Well now this morning she called me at 9 a.m. Asking me to take her to the hospital because she can't breathe. I said I was just out there so I don't have the extra gas, and she really should be calling an ambulance. Not to mention it will take me almost an hour to get there. She got really irritated (did not sound sick at all ) and sai 'it figures i can't ever find anyone to help me!!' It just seemed really kind of off to me. What do you think?
Btw. Her sisters all live by her, her neighbors have cars and she has 900 facebook friends cuz her dads a local celebrity.

She's crazy. And inconsiderate. The travel would have been long, expensive and ultimately useless - not to mention that she sounded breathy enough to say bitchy stuff to you.

Let it pass, she'll come to her senses soon enough Smile

That is strange that she didn't call an ambulance if she could not breathe. That would be my first thing to do. Perhaps she just wants attention and she had already called all of her sisters, who might already know that this is the case. I think you were right not to go. Maybe call her back in a day and see how she feels, just as if nothing was out of the ordinary and see how she responds.
