Facebook: Can you switch back from the timeline upgrade?
I want to try out the new timeline layout on Facebook but im afraid i wont like it, so i want to know if i can switch back to my original format after updating the layout?

You might as well switch to it. Facebook is going to be switching everyone to it soon.

The simple answer is no you can't. I've upgraded and to be honest, I hate it. I've tried changing back but it wont work. Honestly don't get. Its crap

No, there's no way to do that. Although for the moment Facebook did not make a clear statement in any of its official pages about how the upgrade would be deployed, and as a consequence there is a lot of false information going around, experienced users know that Facebook upgrades of this size have never been optional.
Besides, there are clear evidences that indicate that there will be no way to go back to the old Profile. Take a look at the article in the source to see what those evidences are. |

there is no way to remove it - everyone is being converted to the timeline - it's the new look for facebook
