It usually takes awhile, maybe four or five days, if you have a lot of stuff on it.

Go to the right top corner on fb, click account, then click account settings, go all the way down to the new page, and click deactivate

If you deactivate your account, it immediately becomes inaccessible to other FBers. However, the information is saved in case you ever want to reactivate it. If you want to permanently delete your account, go to the help center and search for "delete account." The 4th option down has instructions. You have to submit a request for your account to be permanently deleted, and the link to do so is in that explanation.

1. Go to your homepage or profile
2. Go to your upper right side and click "account" 3. And click "account settings" 4. There should be a box and click "deactivate account" 5 click that and then continue the process. I hope that helped and it might take a couple days because they want to make sure that you want to delete your account. xDD!!! good luck. |

The problem is that any time you come back the account automatically reactivates itself. The next guide explains in detail the available procedures to remove your Facebook account:
