What type of job/position should I apply for?

Hi, I'm having trouble deciding which positions I would be eligible for summer internships with companies, here is my description:

I am a second year finance major at a university, I have taken managerial and financial accounting courses along with one finance course (for now).

I have previous work experience as a trade consultant for a government, and a marketing assistant for a magazine. I am also the president of an investment club

I want to get into investment banking, so I am looking for possibly a summer position as a financial analyst at a firm/bank.

Is this the right position to apply for? if not, what are other possibilities?

Career with banking is a high demanding personalities now a days. So if possible please try to build your career with banking. Social status is so nice for this.
