Can someone tell me how to delete my facebook account?

Technically there is no such thing as deleting your Facebook account. But you can deactivate it so no one can access it and post on it! Go into your account settings and find the link that says "Deactivate Facebook account" This should be accessed when you click the arrow beside your name in Facebook, and click account settings!

The answer above does the same thing as this option. But all your data is deleted. With my answer, later you can back it up without all of the spam and remake your account if you would so choose
