Why aren't my Instagram hashtags not working?

This has been a recent problem. The last few pics I've uploaded, just have non-working hashtags. When I say non-working, I mean that they're just not linking. They highlight blue, but when I select the tag, my pic doesn't show in the feed.

Anyone else have this problem, and is there anyway I can fix this? I've tried emailing Instagram, but they haven't gotten back to me. I've also logged out and back in. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but to no avail. What's also weird is that even when I add hashtags through the website, and other sites like Follogram, the same problem still happens. I'm getting no likes. It's as if they're ghost pics. It's really annoying.

The purpose of the hashtags is to link to OTHER items/pics that relate to that hash tag, not to link to your own photo. I just clicked on several of mine, and that's exactly what happens. Why would we need to click back to our own photos... there's an icon we click that brings us to our own. If someone else clicks on that hashtag, your photo would be among the photos they see, along with others that used the same hashtag.

Mine isn't working either. I just noticed this an hour or so ago when I uploaded a photo with a few hashtags.

So it's not just you, and there's nothing WE can really do about it, it's an error on Instagram's part and they haven't seemed to care about it in the past.

I noticed my hash tags were not working a few hours ago and I came on here hoping to find a solution to my dilemma. Apparently their seems to be no fix so it seems as if I have two options 1. I delete my account 2. post without hash tags.

same here all day too i tried to reinstall the ig app and my phone and everything change my username lol idk wtf is going on =/

I got a solution !!
I'm having the same issue since weeks and I'm not getting likes anymore only from my followers , I have two accounts , i don't have that problem with my personal one but I'm having it with my photography one. I FIGURED OUT that if I used more than TWO HASHTAGS my photo will not show up, but if you write one hashtag or two in each comment it would show up and this is a TEMPORARY solution till Instagram fix this.
