Why doesn't facebook app work for blackberry?

I am having the same issue. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one. I pulled the battery.. unistalled the fb app.. reinstalled and still having the same issue. I guess its facebook then.

I am having same problem. On my phone, I am getting messages that either it can't contact Facebook, I don't have permission, or it will crash my phone entirely. Uninstalling/reinstalling didn't help. Just did a review of #blackberry and #facebook on Twitter and MANY people are reporting problems right now - must be a BB or FB issue.

i am also facing the same problem with my blackberry curve since today (21Jun10) morning.
I've uninstalled facebook app, restarted BB and reinstalled, still problem persists.
Looks like a problem with facebook server onlyl

I'm having the same problem. I hate it. its been happening to me for about 4 days now. the only thing i can do is post a status but it wont show up till a day later. also, this is the first and LAST blackberry i will buy, because it sucks. not just because of fb, but many other things.
