Getting friends on Facebook?... Advice?

Ok so I'm 13, new to Facebook. I only have like 2 friends, but they have like 300, and they are all from our middle school. It's not like if I send a friend request to someone I know, I'm afraid they will "reject". Its just I'm afraid to send a request, to people who are even just aquantiences. I want them to realize I have a Facebook and send a request to me, so I can just accept it. Because there is this guy who I kInd of like, he's cute lol. And he thinks I'm pretty (friends tell me). He has a Facebook, and I really want to like be in touch with him. But I barely know him, he just goes to my school, not in any of my classes though. I know that if I request, he will accept, but I just can't request, it's so annoying. How do I make him realize that I have a Facebook, and make him want to request??
BTW: none of my friends know I like him, and they never wil...
Also, please a diff answer than "just send a request".... Lol

Honestly, i know you said this at the end of the details.. but just send a request. Most people don't really deny requests on facebook unless they have no friends in common, or are complete enemies (..but im friends with my enemies on facebook..). So really, just do it! Hope this helped!

Try sending friend requests to your parents. If they're not on Facebook BEG THEM TO!

Make the request yourself. People add people on facebook just just because they know them and also to increase their friend count. People won't think that you are being intrusive if you send a friend request, but please...please just add people you know, it's really annoying when people add me and im like WTF i dont even know you.

Try commenting on your friend's stuff on Facebook like their statuses, photos etc. Then people will see your comment and see that you have a Facebook.

What you should do is send lots of requests to everyone you know, and also send one to him, because that way it wont be obvious to everyone that you like him. Also, if anyone asks why you sent him one just say "i was just sending them to everyone, thats all". He might be as shy as you so if you dont send him one then he might never do it himself.

So basically, send requests to loads of people, including him, and itll be fine. hope this helps
