I can't Request a Friend, or Like photos on their webpage?

I want to Friend someone on FB but cannot as there isn't a Request a Friend option on their page. Nor can I Like or comment on their photos. A few days ago I would have been able to - but didn't. Now I want to - but can't.
Would this individual/FB have a ban on me? Or would the person simply have changed their privacy settings? If a person only allows Friend Requests from Friends of Friends can you still comment/Like on their page?

More than likely he or she blocked you, though, it is possible that they changed their settings and that's why you're unable to see those options anymore. The only way to know for sure is to ask them or someone else to look into it.

*Forgot, to answer your last question: Um... If I remember correctly (I haven't used Facebook in months), if someone allows 'Friends of Friends' to have access to their page, then you would see the same options as anyone else that is a mutual friend (to 'Add', 'Block', etc.), depending on whether or not your mutual friend is categorized as such on the other person's page will also determine whether or not you can contact them.

It's possible to accept someone and block them/those that they know from most of your information.

Not that they've blocked you. If they do so, you won't even see them on Facebook. Try to ask anyone else to search for them and see whether they can see the option. If they can, then know they have changed their settings such that you cant friend them
