Delete something on fb App?

I liked a status saying " Truth is " and so she did mine, and it had something my mom dont wanna see and think im rude. So i wanna delete it. Idk how. How do I delete the post on my timeline on the facebook app? I used to know how but it wont work. Any ideas?

With the new version you can't I don't think... You will probably have to get ok a computer and do it

A post on your timeline on Facebook should have a gray-ish arrow pointing downwards (like this: v). If you tap on that, a menu should come up with options "Delete", "Hide from Timeline", and "Copy Link". You can choose to delete it or just hide it from your timeline, but it can still come up on people's newsfeed.
