privacy settings on facebook?

how do i change the privacy settings for certain information on my facebook? for example, people who arent my friends can see things such as my favorite books, movies, etc but i want that to be private. i also want to let people who arent friends to be able to see my education and work. how do i change this? i cant figure it out.. any help greatly appreciated!

go to your profile, click edit profile. then on each item, on the top right corner of the item, there'll be a small icon that you can click.

go on edit profile, go to activities and interests or whatever you want to make private, and click the little earth thingy on the right, forgot what its called but you'll see it on the right, scroll down and pick who will be able to see it. problem solved
