Basically, Liam sent a tweet to Willie from the tv show Duck Dynasty saying that he was happy to see how well he stuck to his family morals and such and last year another family member from the show, Phil, got in trouble for making an anti gay speech (like 5 years ago) so Tyler, being openly gay, though Liam was saying that he agreed with the Robertsons "anti-gay" morals and tweeted Liam saying he was disappointed that he was supporting a family who are "bigots" and "homophobic", then Liam started an uproar back at Tyler saying that he is twisting his words and that he doesn't have a life and he wasn't a true fan ect. Then all the little "directioners" started tweeting Tyler with death threats and such causing Tyler to say that he was done with twitter for a while...

To shorten it a little, Liam tweeted something to Duck Dynasty's star saying he appreciates his family's morals and stuff. Now Tyler Oakley misinterpreted this by thinking that Liam's against homosexuality. So he tweeted Liam saying he's disappointed in him. Now its everywhere and all over the media, that Liam is supporting Duck Dynasty and is against homosexuality. So that's what got Liam angry and he tweeted various things opposing the media. And so the directioners supported him. But they also went a little too far sometimes by first trending #DirectionerWantTylerOakleyDead. And no we didnt want that. It's just some stupid kid who started it.
