Why won't my new uploaded photos display in the news feed in the new format?

So after posting new photos on my fan page, it will show up on my fan page wall in the new posted picture format (3 pictures, first big and other two on side on top of eachother)- but it shows the old (3 pictures all small and in a row) in the news feed? This is the one change on facebook I really liked, as it shows more detail and grabs the attention of the viewer more. I noticed going through my feed that some of the other fan pages I like are having the same thing happen, but not all of them- as if it's random? Is this a glitch in the new fb or is there something that we are doing that posts them in the feed in the old format?
JENNY- No that is not what i'm talking about. When you post pictures- under your newsfeed you and your friends see where it says ".... added so many pictures to the ..... album and under that shows a few of the pictures that were added. The old way showed three pictures in a row all the same size. The new way, it shows the first picture big and the two other on top of eachother on the right side of the big one.
