i can not tame my hair?
I am a white man an I have very thick curly hair and I am fed up with a pony tail, the only thing is i dont want a buzz cut or anything too short. I can not find any low maintenance hairstyles that suit my hair (all the ones i find are for guys with slightly curly hair). if i got my hair cut short it will turn into an afro!
Do i have any option appart from chemically straightening it? I need something that will look good with little effort. here is the style i like if my hair was straight! http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/6...9bf07a.jpg http://img2-2.timeinc.net/ew/dynamic/img...hris_l.jpg http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/users16/tr...067462.jpg Ads |

You could strighten your hair using a flat iron, or a brush and a blowdryer. You should also use a serum on your hair when it is damp, as this will help to tame your hair when it is being styled. I'm sorry if this isn't low maintenanve enough, but unfortunately if you have naturally curly hair and tou want straight hair, or even the other way around, it's never going to be a very low maintenance look. Personally i'd go with a man bun.. they look aswesome on guys, and are supposed to look rough and untamed, and i think they look especially hot if you have a few loose bits if curly hair falling out of the bun. Unkempt hair is VERY in, ans this would be extremely low maintenance for you..so you're lucky! However, if you really do want straight hair, you will have to apply heat, and product (frizz ease serum is good, ans hairsray to finish off - but not too much, you don't want crispy hair)
