How can I improve my french speaking?
I'm in high school and I really like learning French, but speaking it can be difficult sometimes, as can understanding native speakers speak in French. How do you recommend that I improve my listening and speaking skills? I know that there are probably websites out there that would be able to help, but I'm not really sure where to look.

Hello Smile
I am also a French student and I am taking AP french this year (Well, the test). Anyway, I suggest you to watch the news or a tv show ! You can still read book but you can't really have fun so yeah. So watch the news or a tv show in French Smile or listen to french songs !

Practise it whenever possible.

I was lucky in that I've spoken french (basically since birth) with most of my family,
and many friends. Ideas eh: Watch movies (preferably from a francophone country
or even a dubbed / subtitled version), likewise the news or music. If you happen to
know any francophones offer to help them with something they might need or want
practise with (such as english) in exchange for some french-language conversation.

Hi, Mark

Watching, listening and reading don't help with speaking. At all.

Most of us understand but few really speak and even fewer speak well.

Here is a 23k-fan facebook page with people just like you: https://www.facebook.com/FrenchOnSkype

And, when you don't have a partner for conversation, make sure you speak out-loud when you read or write.

If you don't use it, you lose it.

Hope this helps!

Practice. Study. Ask your French teacher for more help in class. Maybe watch a video on French
