Crush sent me a friend request on facebook!!??!?

Okay so my crush sent me a friend request on facebook, ahh!!!!!!!!
I was in so much shock
The thing is I've never spoken to him before and I didn't even think he knew I was alive...
Plus we only have 3 mutual friends?? Am I reading too much into this or could he possibly like me too?
I was over the moon, until I realised his facebook said "in a relationship" it doesn't say to whom but it sucks if it's true...what should I do?

I would just except the friend request and see what happens. There is always a reason why people request friends. He might be however doing it because he knows your 3 other friends ergo feels obliged to be your friend.

Find out what he likes and try to speak to him. Do you go to College, School, University or Work? I don't know much about your situation from what you have posted but coming from a guy of which I am, It's best to let him know you like him. Even if you pretend it's a mistake, like "Hey, long time no see/or Hey what you up to? you want to meet up some time, like for lunch? I'm not sure if you are dating or not but would be nice" and then try to mention some time that you like him. At least he knows then and by making it a mistake doesn't make it embarrassing.
