Should i be honest with my friend? he's a bit over the top obesessed with a girl?

today he's asked me if he seemed obsessed or clingy over this girl he likes. they're "talking" in other words thinking about dating each other. which is step to being bf/gf he told me he stalks her face book page to wait for her to post a status update so he can comment on it, if she doesn't text back within an hour he gets worried and concerned about her and texts "Are you okay?" or something like that and gets jealous when he notices that she "Friends" other guys on facebook. he told me he sometimes would message them on face book and tell them off so they would delete her.

i think he's a bit obsessive but to spare his feelings i told him this is totally normal. he asked me because the girl he likes told him to cool it and its starting to annoy her. should i be honest? now i feel like i am ruining they're relationship.

Yes be honest! he should stop bugging her like that. everyone needs personal space even if the person isn't literally there.

If he asked then you have a right to answer honestly! You're not doing any favors if he asked you honestly and you didn't reply honestly
