How come nowadays kids smokes weed?

I see 12 ,13 and 14 year old kids smoking I see it in Facebook, Instagram and other social media and be postin pictures of them smoking weed

Kids in the past smoked too, there was just no social media to post pictures onto. Kids of past decades were into cigarettes much more than weed, which is why so many adults smoke today. I can't understand why these kids would smoke, much less put pictures of themselves doing it up for everyone to see.

Young people are bored. And they feel the need to post these pictures up to show the world that they're having a good time blazing. Social media is making people want to put up an online 'facade', that their lives look better than they actually are. And this comes from the bigger picture of the messages mainstream media portrays.

It's not as harmful as tobacco. But still, early teens is waaaay too young.

They think it's cool & apparently it relieves stress, but there are other alternatives to stress. I just think they hang around the wrong crowd.

Lots of reasons such as peer pressure and family problems.They smoke in order to get away from family problems where they feel unloved.

They feel cool when they do it and they feel it is a good way to get heard of all around the school. Also maybe for a bit of attention and/ or to fit in.
